Awarding of Wheelchairs at PUP

Date:                              July 23, 2010   Objective: ·         To help provide wheelchair for mobility of persons with disabilities.   Venue:                  PUP Ground, Sta. Mesa, Manila   Participants: ·         Teody Auxilian ·         Mary Ann Dao ·         Cristobal Estigoy ·         Catherine Paguio     Outcome:           Persons with disabilities requiring wheelchair for mobility receives their wheelchair from AKAP-PINOY.   Evaluation:           It is important that persons with disabilities recognize their sense of belongingness. The center is one of the places where they can feel this way. It is important that the center can provide services to persons with disabilities so that persons with disabilities will appreciate and value the existence of the center.
