Peer Visit (Aaron Moises Villanueva)

Objectives:

1. To introduce life haven independent living center.

2. To know the general condition of the visited person with disability.

3. To know what help/assistance life haven independent living center can extend to the visited person with disability.

4. To encourage the visited person with disability and his family to join the activities of life haven independent living center.

Venue:

(Aaron Moises Villanueva) 569 C. Rosal st. Miguelito Homes Gen. T. De Leon Valenzuela City

Participants:

Eric Dy & Teody Auxilian

Outcome:

1. LHILC staffs successfully introduced the center and its services to Aaron's family.

2. LHILC staffs learned the general condition of Aaron and his family and his need for a wheelchair.

3. LHILC staffs shared information to Aaron's parents about his condition and made some referrals.

4. The parents expressed willingness to participate in LHILC activities.

Evaluation:

The parents welcome the LHILC staffs. They showed interest in what was presented to them. At one point they shared disappointment about when they were visited by some social workers but no result happened.
