Peer Visit (Rodolfo Taharan)

Date: September 10, 2010 Objective: 1. To introduce life haven independent living center. 2. To know the general condition of the visited person with disability. 3. To know what help/assistance life haven independent living center can extend to the visited person with disability. 4. To encourage the visited person with disability to join the activities of life haven independent living center. Venue: (Rodolfo Taharan) # 12 Ilang-ilang St. Karuhatan Valenzuela City Participants: Eric Dy & Teody Auxilian Outcome: Rodolfo welcomed the staffs from the center. The center introduced independent living and the services of the center. Rodolfo was amazed that persons with extensive disabilities visit him in his house. Evaluation: Rodolfo is not very interested in the center's activities. Maybe the reason for his lack of interest is his feelings that he do not need the services that the center is offering. One other reason might be because of his light disability and his life status. He runs his own business and able to support himself and his family.
